  The area had been covered in ivy and lots of weeds. Preparation for the retrofit (Surfrider OFG Garden Assistance Party/workday) was completed by homeowners and homeowner’s landscapers. Garden design was done by Jason Austin at RareFind Nursery. Planting was completed by volunteers from the Jersey Shore Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation.Plants were gotten at RareFind Nursery in Jackson, New Jersey.
