  This Ocean Friendly Garden was created through a hands-on workshop, sponsored by Surfrider Foundation and led by G3/Green Gardens, with funding from the Prop 84 grant-funded San Diego Sustainable Landscapes Program. The homeowner had cuts made in the driveway to redirect water from downspouts into the side yard. The project involved building swales and berms and sheet mulching.
