Description

This new Donor Garden at the San Marcos Historical Society was partially installed as part of the San Diego Sustainable Landscapes Program. A hot, dry, packed area of dirt was transformed into rich, dark soil that collects rainwater from two adjacent roofs and then planted with a range of California Native plants. Future phases will install a permeable pathway and a small seat wall.
